Building Green: As an EcoBroker I have taken specialized training to be able to help you evaluate and compare home features that will add to your physical comfort and minimize your operating expenses. We can also address healthy and earth friendly features of the home you plan to buy or sell.
We have built our family home with many green features, including Energy Star windows and appliances, recycled building materials, a steel roof, ICF walls, high efficiency heating and cooling system, and extensive stormwater and waste management systems to reduce environmental impact.

Using the internet and other technology: My e-Pro training has helped me stay current with technologies and methods for staying in touch. I will be happy to communicate with you by email, blogs, your personal client progress account, and to be sure that your listing is seen on many internet portals. I also set up automatic searches on the MLS to get information on new listings to you as quickly as possible even when I am away from my desk. But ... I am way too old to think that text messaging is more convenient than a quick phone call, so you'll have to convince me on that one!
However, if you want to see pictures of a home before you visit our town, or if you want some shots to email to your grandmother in Zambia, I will be happy to send them. If you want to birdseye the trees that line the perimeter of the lot where you plan to build, I will pull up the LIVE map and send you the link. What a world!
Finding HELP: Need help deciding how much house you can afford? Ask me about calculators and amortization schedules, or get the names of my three favorite lenders. I will also help you find inspecters to put your mind at ease about the condition of the home you hope to buy. We have title companies for you to call, and insurance carriers who have done a good job for us and our clients. Just ask!
Buyer agency: We spend a lot of time with buyers, helping them find a property, negotiate a sucessful contract, get through the inspections, find a lender, and get to settlement with as little stress as possible.
Waterfront and vacation properties: Ask about our searches for a home on the Susquehanna River, Lake Meade, or other lakes and streams in York, Adams and Lancaster counties of South Central Pennsylvania.
