My primary focus is assisting people that want to have their properties purchased by one of the Florida Forever progams or one of the many local governments that have land buying programs for their communities.  I work with the landowner to design a project for their property that meets the mission of the agency they've targeted, and shepherd the project through the process from first review through closing. 

It is one of the most rewarding fields I have ever worked in, and the benefits just keep coming!

I also work with companies looking for commercial or industrial property, and in particular, contaminated sites.  If you have a contaminated site your client is tired of dealing with, give me a call!

And I am always on the lookout for those folks who are looking for their dream home or are ready to move up or scale back.  I just keep my ears open and stay on the lookout for the opportunity to be of service.   

Good customer service is what I'm about!  Size, price and location are no object.  If I'm not best suited to help someone, I know how to find just the right person!  Being on the Century 21 First Realty Team gives me an advantage.  We have a 60+ member team of great folks that are really good at what they do and we're trained to care about our customers and what they want.  That's why I'm with them!

So no matter what the real estate need, the goal at the end of the day is to match the person with the land.... or the land with the person (or agency, as the case may be!).  When we do, it's a job well done!

Babcock Ranch -  Negotiated State of Florida's purchase of 74,000 acre ranch in Charlotte and Lee Counties from Kitson&Partners in 2006.  Largest acquisition in the state's history, both in acres and cost at $350 million.  Coordinated the effort that took three state agencies, two counties, the Florida Cabinet, the Florida Legislature and numerous environmental organizations to secure the property for future generations of Floridians and visitors to this state to enjoy.   www.babcockwilderness.com/

1,000,000 million acres:   Led the team that acquired over one million of land for the Florida Forever program between 1999 and 2007 across the state of Florida for $2.3 billion. 

Florida Forever Act - 1999-  As the Government Relations Director for the Aududon Society of Florida, I secured passage of the Florida Forever Act, enabling the state to bond documentary stamp taxes and rovide $300 million a year for 10 years to acquire conservation lands and conservation easements to protect Florida's wild places and endangered and threatened species.  Then as the Director of the Division of State Lands I was given the opportunity to implement the new $3 billion, 10 year conservation land acquistion program.

1998 Conservation Amendment 5-  Campaign Director for the constitutional amendment campaign known as Conservation Amendment 5 Campaign.  Passed by 73% of the voters, it recieved more votes than any other issue or candidate on thte ballot that year!.  This amendment was needed if the state wanted to continue to bond documentary stamp tax revenues to continue its conservation land buying program known at that time as Presevation 2000.
