After being a bank officer for 38 years and calling on 1400 business a year, I learned a lot about listening to the customers' needs. I served on the Board of American Cancer Society and founded many fund-raisers, such as the Chili Cookoff, Polo at the Point, Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and many other local projects. I chaired the Business Education Committee which represented the large corporations in Mobile, Alabama, for the American Cancer Society. I was chosen as the first woman President of Sertoma of Mobile. I also served as one of the first "full time, Loaned Executives" to the United Way Campaign of Southwest Alabama. I served on a local Parochial school board, serving as its first woman President. I gained a degree in literacy and tutored adults that needed help reading, in my home, at night. I tutored the grade school level L.D. program and am very involved in Davidson High School's Seniors Program. I speak 4 languages, which keeps me busy translating, when I am needed by the local Chamber. I worked Chamber Chase and served on the "Partners in Education" program to get needed monies for our local schools. I worked on the local UCP development committee and also with Spring Hill College's Business Development Foundation Committee. I was very active with the Chamber of Commerce and put out "Newcomer Packets" to families relocating to the Mobile area. I was an Air Force brat and forced to move frequently (every 3 yrs), so I know what assistance one needs when moving to a new area. I graduated from High School in Sevilla, Spain, and am still in contact with many of my classmates through a website designed for alumni of Spanish High Schools. Traveling is my passion, so it has been a pleasure to travel with my ole classmates and enjoying other cultures. I also take small groups with me to Italy. I started writing a travel book and guide, after helping many Americans abroad and listening to them say, "you should write a book"! Practical tips of how to travel in Italy has gained me many friends that want to travel with me on my next trip abroad. With all of this said, I have a passion for real estate. I enjoy making people happy and finding them just what they want. It is not just a job, as I had one of those. It really is about the customer and, hopefully, a friend!

I lived on Dauphin Island, Alabama, a barrier island for 10 plus years. I love the water, so am well versed on the waterfront properties. I also am working with first time homebuyers, helping them obtain financing through bond monies or other avenues, so that they do not have to come up with a lot of money for down payment nor closing costs. I keep abreast of all of the financing programs, whether it be VA, FHA, USDA or local BOND monies. I also am well versed in Owner Financing Contracts, Owner Leasing Contracts, or Loan Monification Programs. Short Sales and REO's have become an active part of our portfolio. I love helping relocate families and have worked with the military and corporate relo companies.
