About Us:

The Family Team  is a mother/daughter duo (Linda is left in photo & Melinda is on the right) that specializes in listing & selling homes in the West Houston & Katy TX areas. We have both lived in the West Houston/Katy Texas area for over 20 years and love it as much as you will! Prior to working in real estate Linda enjoyed a career in the related fields of property management and insurance. Melinda's previous experience consists of 11 years working for a pipeline inspection company as the Marketing Supervisor. Melinda holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management.

For listings - our specialty is marketing. We know where the buyers are looking, online. According to the National Association of Realtors, 80% of buyers are searching for their dream home online before they ever contact an agent. We specialize in marketing your property online through partnerships or association with more than 30 websites and by a variety of methods that expose your listing directly to other agents in the area. We also use a number of other marketing tools that are not currently being used by the majority of agents in our area. Our listings sell in less than 60 days on average. For Buyers - we primarily work with relocation buyers or buyers who sold a home with us. We know that moving anywhere is one of the most stressful situations a family can go through, and it's ten times more stressful when you're moving to another city or state. We maintain a continuous level of communication with our relocation buyers. Once you've provided your home search criteria, we arrange a personal client gateway to our local Multiple Listing Service so that you are notified daily of any properties matching your criteria. We assist you in narrowing the list of homes to your top 15-20 and then accompany you to these homes when you are ready to start your search in person. We will also counsel you on what you will need in order to make a home purchase (inspections, estimate of your initial funds needed, pre-approvals, etc) and what you should offer based on the market in that neighborhood.

SERVICE PLEDGE - We offer a Service Pledge to both buyers and sellers that states in writing that we will do what we say we will do or you can terminate your agreement with us (of course that has never happened!). We love what we do and it shows in the level of service you receive when you select The Family Team to represent you in your real estate transaction.

Market Area - we specialize in the West Houston - Katy TX area with the majority of our sales in the communities of Cinco Ranch, Seven Meadows, Grand Lakes, Falcon Point and Falcon Ranch.
