WHO AM I?
Native to North Carolina and 10 year resident of Illinois, I now call Florida home, having relocated here in 2002. I live in the St Augustine area and love it's culture, history, and close proximity to Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, Orlando, and Gainsville. I received a Masters in Public Administration from East Carolina University and enjoyed a career in law enforcement. After retiring as a Captain, I moved to Illinois where I worked as an Assistant Bureau Chief with the Illinois State Police. My original plans were to retire to North Carolina, but there's something about having grandchildren that made me realize I should move further south so here I am in Florida.
I love being in real estate and my inspiration was the agent who assisted with my move here from Illinois. She made me realize how important it was to have someone looking after my best interests. I've never forgotten how easy she made my home search and relocation. That's the same kind of service I now provide to my customers. I am always training to stay current with all aspects of the real estate business and have earned my GRI designation.
I am co-owner of the The First Coast Team with my daughter-in-law, Christine Scheutzow, and together we provide first class service. There's no transaction too small or too large for us. Our mission is to successfully guide our customers through a real estate market filled with opportunities.
Areas of Expertise
I have extensive experience in residential sales and specialize in equestrian, new construction,land and high end properties. Due to the broad knowledge base of our team, we are also proficient in working with short sales and bank owned properties. We belong to three multiple listing services and work all of St Johns County, St Augustine, Flagler County, Putnam County, and Duval County.
