Being a Realtor is a rewarding experience in itself but being a Realtor in the community you were born in and grew up in is even more of a rewarding experience. Seeing Wilson County grow from a sleepy farm community to the thriving area it is today is actually amazing. Not to mention the growth of San Antonio. I was born in Floresville, grew up on a farm between Floresville and Pleasanton and have many relatives who live close to Stockdale so I am familiar with all parts of Wilson County. My dad farmed peanuts and raised cattle my entire life. Leaving FHS to attend the University of Houston was an eye opening experience. After completing my BBA in accounting, it was off, off to work for the State Comptrollers office. Needless to say, that was an exciting experience. My quest for a more rewarding career encompassed working for an oil and gas barge drilling company, and One Houston Center building management until returning home to Floresville to raise our children. I have spent 11 years with that large San Antonion insurance company working as an insurance agent when the quest for a more rewarding career struck and I obtained my real estate license. I have to say that was one of the best decisions of my life apart from marrying my husband and having 3 great children. I love real estate!!

South Texas is very diverse and allows for many activities.  You want a  realtor who is experienced in all aspects of the area you are purchasing in.  A agent who works farm and ranch understands many apects of land use and what a buyer needs to be aware of when they enter a contract.  All things from easements, surface rights to mineral rights need to be reviewed prior to contract.  You NEED a realtor who is familiar with these factors to best represent you.
