About Me:

I am the #1 real estate agent for Fairfield County according to the 2011 Fairfield,County Weekly Reader's Poll.  I'm also the #1 ActiveRain member for Fairfield County.   I work with both residential and investor clients on single family, multi-family, condominium, and co-operative properties.

Accomplishments

I have achieved the designation of Exceptional Properties Specialist awarded to agents experienced in selling high-end properties and am a member of the Chairman's Club, which means I am one of the top 10% of agents in terms of volume and sales in the company.  I have also received the Customer Service Excellence Award based on testimonials from very satisfied clients.

Designations

In addition to the REALTOR designation, I have achieved my GRI designation from the Graduate Realtor Institute which requires 12 days of intensive classroom work.  I also obtained the e-PRO designation, which requires expertise in the use of Internet technology and the Internet Marketing Specialist Designation.

Prior to my real estate career, I held internal and external consultancy positions with Fortune 500 companies, such as PepsiCo, Citigroup, Unilever, and Pfizer. I have a Ph.D. from Columbia University, which I obtained in 1990 in Organizational Psychology.

I am a community leader who has been involved with the Black Rock community, a coastal village in Fairfield County, for over 20 years as a founding member of the St. Mary's Block Watch, Black Rock Neighborhood Block Watch, and the Ash Creek Conservation Association, Inc.  I remain active in protecting the Ash Creek tidal estuary as President of the Ash Creek Conservation Association, a 501 (c) 3 charitable organization.

Dear Gail:
Your thoroughly professional, courteous and EFFECTIVE sales efforts on my behalf are most appreciated. Beyond those wonderful traits, your enthusiasm is contagious and obviously something buyers pick up on immediately! In all my years as a buyer/seller and my connections with Architectural Digest magazine, I have never had a more enjoyable and productive relationship with any real estate agent – you are simply terrific. Especially important to me as a long distance seller, was your assiduous attention to ALL the details–attention that facilitated the sale and made my life so very much easier. Thanks! Know for sure that I would instantly choose you as my agent if the occasion ever again arises. Topping that, you are a delightful individual with a very caring and kind nature.
Michael Fitzgerald

Gail is an extremely competent agent. She listens, works hard for her client, represented my property in the best possible light, created an appealing and descriptive website, and, best of all for me, sold my property with the least amount of hassle and best dollar return I have ever experienced with a home sale.
I would whole-heartedly recommend Gail to anyone interested in selling or purchasing property.
Patricia Earnest

This past December I was introduced to the complicated process of buying a piece of property. Just a few years out of college the ins and outs of real estate were a foreign language to me. As my agent, Gail, simplified and explained the ins and outs and helped make my first purchase pleasant and pain free. Gail listened to my needs and wants in a home and helped narrow down my search without trying to sell me on anything that didn’t fit my preferences. My experience with Gail was not only successful but enjoyable. I would recommend Gail to anyone searching for a new place to call their own.

Gail is the most dedicated and knowledgeable specialist we could have chosen to sell our Black Rock property. Her extensive knowledge of the area, her attention to detail and her patience to help us through the process, truly got the job done beyond our expectations-She even jumped my car on the side of the road. Talk about dedication!

Both Richard and I wanted to forward a note to sing your praises regarding the sale of both our home at 189 Ellsworth, as well as my condo at 155 Brewster Street. The customer service we experienced could not have been better, even through some of the most challenging episodes. You maintained a pro-active approach every inch of the way, always looking out for our best interests. Your flair for marketing, from the website, the mailings, and the open houses to the feature article in the Connecticut Post were beyond anything I have experienced in the sale of the five other properties I have sold over the last 25 years. And your thoroughness is simply astounding! And not to be overlooked, you maintained a professional, yet compassionate attitude when we were both losing our heads in the midst of crisis.”
