I am a Washington native, raised in Olympia and currently a resident of Cashmere. I am a graduate of Middlebury College in Vermont where I earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Political Science. Prior to real estate I spent nearly a decade in law enforcement as a park ranger in our National Parks.
I am one of only a handful of real estate agents in the Wenatchee Valley to earn their e-PRO designation from the National Association of Realtors. As an e-PRO I have received the most up to date training on how to use the internet, e-mail, and other high tech tools to maximize my real estate business. With 77% of consumers using the internet to help them research real estate, it makes sense to use an agent who understands how best to use these tools.
In 2007 I was awarded the Certified Residential Specialist designation by the Council of Residential Specialists. Less than 4% of all Realtors earn this coveted designation which requires extensive real estate experience and advanced training. Only a dozen Realtors in Chelan and Douglas counties hold the CRS designation.
My goal is to be the best advocate for my clients and to find creative solutions to their problems. In 2007, I saved my buyers an average of $9000 and sold my listings for nearly 99% of their list price.
In 2006 my peers named me to the Board of Directors for the North Central Washington Association of REALTORS where I served as the Director for Governmental Affairs for Chelan County. I also have served on the MLS committee and have coordinated the REALTOR food drive in Leavenworth.
"Geordie was a great help to us in purchasing our second home. Even though we were 100 miles away, he made the whole process go smoothly. We love our cabin on Fish Lake and thank Geordie for helping us with the process."
"Geordie was a pleasure to work with. He showed us a variety of property so we would understand what was on the market. If he was not available for us he made sure someone else from his office was there to help. He was very knowledgeable about all he had to offer for us and if we saw something when we were out and about he made sure he found out any info he could about it."
"Last year my husband and I sold our property in Leavenworth. Even though we now live in New Mexico and had to conduct all transactions by phone, fax and mail, Geordie made it a seamless process. We were kept informed consistently what the status of the sale was and wish to thank him for making the 'selling experience' painless."
"Geordie was a pleasure to work with. He has an excellent feel for market conditions and always took the time to help us out and answer our questions. We were very pleased with how quickly and painlessly our house sold."
"Two things come to mind that impressed me about my experience with Geordie. First, his professionalism and willingness to admit that he doesn't have the answers, but then to seek them out. Second, his diligence is what I believe found us the house we are now in. When it came back on the market, it was due to Geordie's watchful eye that we were able to see it and put an offer in right away."
"The best aspect of Geordie's representation of our real estate deal was how well he handled the long distance aspects of the process. We live two hours away from the home we purchased, and all of the communication and signing of neccessary papers was handled by Geordie efficiently and professionally. We highly recommend him to anyone locally or long distance, and we recommend him to our friends who remotely express an interest in the Leavenworth, Cashmere, Wenatchee area."
"Geordie Romer was an excellent agent to work with. He made the purchase of a second home a painless process. We have not had the pleasure of working with Allyson, but can only think that Geordie with another team member can only be that much more wonderful. Thanks Geordie! We love our Cashmere get-away!"
