About KW Commercial
Evan Langert is a veteran commercial real estate practicioner with over twenty five years experience. He has been a licensed attorney in Maryland since 1985, and first obtained his broker's license in the State in 1991. He is also a licensed real estate broker in California.
Evan is a third generation commercial real estate practicioner, and has been heavily involved in several different commercial real estate disciplines over the years. These have included retail and office leasing, retail project development and entitlements, syndication, investment sales, and REO and distressed asset transactions.
Evan has also negotiated scores of office, retail, and industrial lease transactions in over twenty different states. In addition to his brokerage activities, he spent almost nine years as the Eastern Regional Counsel for Glenborough Realty Trust, a $2.5 billion fully diversified NYSE-traded REIT. in that role, Evan oversaw all office, retail, and industrial leasing for the company in the eastern half of the United States. He has negotiated full floor and partial floor office leases in downtown major central business districts, including deals with include Clear Channel Communications, Fed Ex, Merrill Lynch, PruBache, Bella Photography, Cemetary Resales, Inc., Garnett Sign, MetLife, and Parsons Brinckerhoff.
He has also negotiated scores of retail leases involving such companies as Lord & Taylor, Outback Steakhouse, Circuit City, Starbuck's, Chipotle, Popeye's, and others.
Evan teaches commercial real estate leasing, retail investments, and commercial distressed assets and REO's to hundreds of commercial real estate brokers throughout the United States, and he and his team are well able to handle any commercial transaction with expertise.
Evan is a member of KW Commercial's national governing board (the CLC), as well as it's national faculty. He is also the sitting chairperson of KW Commercial's national REO committee, and is a certified expert witness for commercial real estate matters. He is listed in "Who's Who In Real Estate".
Evan's business model thrives on referrals from other commercial agents, and from residential agents...both within Keller Williams and from several other residential brokerages. He is very comfortable in developing trusting relationships with other agents, and loves to write referral checks for business sent his way. Evan has given referral fees as high as $60,000 for a closed transaction, and looks forward to beating that number.
