Who and what we are.

Customer driven best describes our company philosophy and we never deal with a family just once. Loyalty is something we know must be earned and we are happy to take up that challenge!

We are a Central Florida based Mortgage Bank with the advantage of being able to underwrite and close our own loans or Broker to the best fit for any situation. That flexibility, and our personal touch, sets us apart from our competition.

Personally I am immediate past Associate Vice President of the Lake County Home Builders Association and an active Kiwanian with the Golden Triangle Kiwanis.

With over 70 years combined financial experience between just our three partners we have proven our mettle within the industry. Peggy Thomas, Mickey Carlton and myself all have different approaches and strengths, which complement our team as a whole.

Personally my strengths are government and first time buyers financing with over 23 years of mortgage finance experience. I'm loving this market as it allows buyers who have been priced out of owning a home the renewed ability to buy. What I like about Gerry is that he really takes the time to understand what the customer needs.  Also, once the contract is signed he keeps the deal moving forward until it's closed.  In today's challenging market it's important to work with a lender who will attend to all the details.  It's the details that determine if the deal will actually close.   The last loan closed by Gerry presented us with challenges from the Seller, Buyer and the property itself.  Gerry and his team at Thomas Financial coordinated all of the parties and closed the deal after another lender had failed at the last moment.  The seller had problems with a pre-payment penalty, the buyer had marginal income and the property had some survey issues.  All of these problems were resolved due to the skill, care and diligence of Gerry and his team.  Thanks Gerry.
