With more than 20 years experience in marketing, advertising and design, I started Croft Communications and Advertising, in New York City in 1993. A Chattanooga, Tennessee native, I marketed my southern charm, big smile and hard work to no-nonsense businesses like HBO, Conte Naste, and Gotham Advertising. Disarming hardened New Yorkers became my favorite hobby, although coffee shop eavesdropping placed a close second.
After completing an MA in Conscious Evolution in 2004 (BA Communication), I spent two months volunteering on an organic, sustainable farm in Byron Bay, Australia. When I returned, I decided to leave the Big Apple in favor of a smaller, progressive, interesting community, closer to aging parents and her adult son, Andrew, in Atlanta. Asheville fit the description perfectly.
Always interested in homes, land, and real estate, I was thrilled to learn that Asheville offers an eco-certification for real estate professionals. Currently, though, she lives quietly in West Asheville with her cat Bessie and enjoys all the wonderful amenities that Asheville offers – including the surrounding mountains and interesting people.
Gwen is excited to be working with the professionals at Keller Williams and transferring her marketing background into a successful, exciting and rewarding career in real estate.
