About Myself:
I am a native of Anderson County, Kentucky. Married with one grown son and a young grandson.
My husband, Jimmy, and I enjoy living on our 80-acre farm with our grandson, Jacob. We have four horses, three dogs and a cat. Something exciting is always going on there.
As an advocate for grandparents rights, I hold a bi-weekly support group during the school year for families raising grandchildren or other relative children and sit on a committee that plans a conference called GAP (Grandparents As Parents) each March in Lexington.

Being a KY Agent:
I absolutely love helping buyers find farms or land to use for farming, horses, hunting, or just to live kinda off the grid. Since we live in the country and have different animals, hunt and four-wheel, it just made sense that I would like helping buyers buy in the country or help sellers sell their farms or land. Of course, I do help buyer and/or sellers with their property transactions in town and love it just the same.
Using my four-wheeler for showings has been a great help and we can get places that we otherwise wouldn't if we walked or drove my Jeep. Of course, I've had my Jeep Cherokee Sport in some tight spots on wooded acreage, but it has never failed me yet. Looking for land and farm property for clients has actually become a passion. I troll the MLS's and farm web sites for farm/land property constantly and get very excited when something new comes on the market that I believe one of my clients might be interested in. Showcasing land and farm properties on special web sites has been very helpful for my clients and has created some special relationships with out-of-state buyers. Sometimes it takes months or a year-or-two to be able to help someone find the special property they are looking for. During that time, whether communication is my email, phone or postal mail, I have found some very good friends in the process and hope to create lots more in the future.
Everyone client I have worked with has become a personal friend and I cherish every moment I spent with them in helping with the buying and/or selling process.
Kentucky has been my home all of my 52 years and I can not imagine living anywhere else. So helping out-of-state buyers make their move here makes me feel great because they could not of chosen a better place to call home.
Loving what you do makes a difference in how you attract clients and friends and I definitely love being a Real Estate agent and making an impact on someone's life to help them with the biggest investment they will ever make.
