About Us:

My business background benefits my real estate clients wishing to make decisions based not only on needs and wants, but on financial requirements. I guide my residential clients towards the best house for their money, and I tutor my investor clients on cash flows and appreciation potential.

Licensed as a real estate agent in 1991; won a Rookie of the Year award that year.

Earned my brokers license in 1996.

I have owned two real estate companies. Home & Hearth Realty was opened in 2000 to deliver a more personal and professional service to my clients. My purpose is to be a client's Realtor for life, similar to the role of an attorney or an accountant. That requires a much higher level of care.

GRI - Graduate of the Realtors Institute

CRS - Member of the Certified Residential Specialists. President Elect of the Connecticut Chapter of CRS 2009.

CIPS-  Certified International Property Specialist. One of 34 in Connecticut with this designation. I trained in Paris in 2007 to help my clients who want to purchase property outside of the United States. I am bi-lingual and can help my clients in Spanish or English.

 

Community Involvement: 

President, Board of Directors, Clifford Beers Child Guidance Clinic, New Haven, Connecticut. I am commited to the mental health of children in the Greater New Haven area. This is my focus outside of work. I look forward to the day when mental health issues are treated like any other childhood illness, without stigma or fear.

I have been trained as a relocation specialist, and can help families relocating to the New Haven area to work at the Hospitals or Universities settle in to our wonderful area. New Haven County is a center of education and culture in Connecticut . I am sensitive to the special needs of the relocating family, leaving family and social connections behind. I will be your resource in New Haven County, helping you to connect with people and services, to become a part of our community.

 I am also trained to work with first time homebuyers. I can guide them through the process of finding the perfect home, getting the mortgage and settling in to their new home. From first showing through closing an beyond, I will be with the client through the homebuying process.
