A little information about me....
I held my first open house when I was 12. Really! I am a second generation Realtor who has enjoyed seeing this business change with technology. Back in the "old days" our MLS system consisted of 8 1/2 x 11 printouts that you cut into quarters and filed in a shoe box. Boy have times changed for the better. Today, I have access to all of the listings in my area and beyond via my cell phone. I simply adore modern technology!
I take pride in my profession and my work. I demonstrate this through my continued dedication to education and professional development. I have attained Broker status as well as the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) , Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) , Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Senior Real Estate Specialists (SRES), Short Sale & Foreclosuer Resource (SFR) and e-Pro designation. I am a full time Realtor and member of the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council (REBAC), Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors as well as the NVAR Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club. I have been appointed to the Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR) Professional Development Committee as well as the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR) Education Advisory Group. I have also been elected to serve on the NVAR Board of Directors 2012-2013.
I also believe communication is key to a stress-free transaction. I intend to listen to your needs and to keep you informed on every stage of the home buying or selling process. Since 1989, I have had the opportunity to work in many aspects real estate. Specializing in first time home buyers, I have also had the trust of many of my clients to manage their propeties in their absence. I have attained both the SRS (Sellers Representative Specialist) as well as the ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) designations because I feel it is important to understand both sides of any transaction. The ultimate win-win transaction is when all parties can be represented fairly.
