I have many passions in my life: my family, photography, real estate and the wonderful Pacific Northwest! I am committed to helping my clients find, or sell, their home by providing excellent service and making the home buying experience stress-free for my clients. Prior to becoming a Realtor, I had a long and satisfying career working in television. The array of skills I honed during my tenure in television; producing, reporting, filming and editing, being ready at a moment's notice combined with the necessity of working under tight deadlines, has actually helped make me a better realtor! As a producer, I was committed to ethical, objective, top-notch producing. As a realtor, I am committed to providing you with excellent, ethical, customer service.
One of my passions has always been designing, and especially re-designing, the interiors of homes. In my previous career, I normally re-arranged a room prior to an interview in order for it to look better through the eye of the camera and therefore to viewers at home.
As a Realtor, I have seen hundreds of homes and can attest to the fact that a house that is "move in ready" will usually sell quicker than one that is cluttered and in need of attention. I have come to realize that the homes I place on the market need to be "camera" (and therefore, buyer) ready. The way to accomplish this is through staging.
The way you live in your home and the way you market it are two different things. Your home might need to be staged in order for it to sell faster. In fact, homes that are staged on average take 6.2 days to have a signed around offer versus 32-42 days for un-staged homes. To help get your home "buyer ready," I trained to become a realtor staging professional and am featured in the internationally distributed DVD on staging by the founder of staging, Barb Schwarz. Not every agent is an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP.)
