- We are a residential design firm specializing in luxury home and remodel design. Kevin is a Certified Green Professional. No project is too large or small.
Credentials
Kevin is Professional Member of the American Institute of Building Design. He currently sits on the North Carolina Society of the AIBD Board of Directors as the Secretary. He is also an active member of the Associate Council, Remodeler's Council, and Green Building Council of the Home Builders Association of Charlotte Through the Home Builders Association, Kevin attended classes during the 21st Century Building Show and received his Certified Green Professional designation. Since then he has become very knowledgeable in the newest developments and materials in green building practices by attending various discussion groups, attending seminars, and by doing his own research and studies. Kevin has designed several show houses for Home-a-rama in Charlotte and Parade of homes in Charlotte and Raleigh. His show houses can be seen in The Peninsula, The Point, The Sanctuary, Highgate, Highgrove, Skyecroft, and in Hidden Lake in Raleigh. He also designed the 2007 IDS Showhouse in Cornelius.

At KDH Residential Designs we pride our company on being very knowledgeable of today's building practices and cutting edge design. What our clients want is our first priority. We rely on our clients and the site to provide us with a script for designing their home. We will find out how they live in their home today and what they see as must haves or defiantly don't wants. We find out what styles of home they see as attractive or what environmental issues may be important to them. This Q&A session usually sets us on the right path to discover our client's home that theyhave imagined. We will design a custom home to fit most if not all of the criteria that our clients give us.
