Hi - and thanks for visiting!
I am a very happy Realtor with Keller Williams in Latham NY. One of my goals for my website http://www.holliboyd.com is dissecting a certain price point (that’s fancy-speak for price) of real estate in the area and show you what you get for it. I will also look for popular home descriptions (ie 3 beds/2 baths/1 car garage) and see what it will cost you depending on what your zip code is and what the side of those big yellow buses driving around town say. I also love finding new web sites that are real estate related and previewing them - maybe it’s something that you might like to know as well? Enjoy!

If you would like to know a little more about me personally ….

I was born in Manhattan and lived there until school age when my parents moved north for a better, more rural life for me and my younger sister, Rose. I love the Hudson Valley and all the natural beauty this area offers. I have lived in the capital district since 1992, including several residencies in downtown Albany city neighborhoods, suburban areas like Colonie, the gorgeous rural area of Poestenkill, and now a lake home in Wynantskill. I prefer Rensselaer county ( you might want to check out this link as well) as the property values are reasonable and the area is still very rural - although downtown Troy offers many small city features such as great restaurants, theater, architectural integrity and boutique shopping.

Real estate has been a great career choice for me as I am a single mom and I love the flexibility it offers. My two girls are school age and mean the world to me. I have joint custody with their dad who lives in the area as well. My youngest daughter has told me she wants to sell houses too when she grows up. I think it’s a great compliment.

I enjoy getting to know my clients …. many of my clients are now my friends as well! Buying a home can be a very stressful experience, and I like to think that I help make it just a little bit easier for each of my clients.

Holli is GREAT!!! I have been looking for a house for almost a year now. Holli is the fourth Agent that I have dealt with. I know that I was asking for something difficult. I was looking for a house that I could afford as a single father of two and in the same school district so my children wouldn't have to change schools again. The first agent gave up. After a couple of weeks and only finding one house fitting my requirements and that one was condemened I stopped getting phone calls.
