I'm a happily married father of two kids, living the good life in Southern Maine. I treat my clients as family, not just because that is how I want to be treated, but because that is how I do most of my business. "About a year and a half ago my husband and I sold our home with the help of Josh, and I must say that it was so stressful until we met Josh Holt. We had our house on the market for about nine months when we had been referred to Josh. We had used the services of three other agents before Josh came along, and we told him when we met him that we felt sorry for him because we would not be an easy client for him to deal with because at that point we really hated all real estate agents. Until we came to Josh, both my husband and I felt that the other agents had no clue as to what it takes to sell a house. The others seemed to only show the house but never really knew how to take it to the next step to get the house sold. When we met Josh we were somewhat concerned with his age, lets face it my husband and I have shoes older than him. We were struck by his energy and his understanding of the market and what needs to be done to get the house SOLD. He had some very creative ideas on how we could bring interest to the house, but most of all we felt that he knew how to get all parties to the closing table. We had one second showing with him, it was a nice young couple and he SOLD them on that second showing for the full asking price. As a seller there are two things that you need to do: 1- Have your house and yard looking clean and beautiful for all showings - you never know who will be your buyer so you need to do this every time 2 -Have an agent that is a "go getter" and understands the market as well as not being afraid to ask for the sale, we feel that is Josh Holt, because the other three agents before him just could not get that sold sign on the house ( also call him daily at 6am that's what I did and I am sure he loved that ) My husband and I feel that Josh has become our friend, we truly value that along with his hard work and talent as agent that can get the job done. Selling your house can be very painful but, Josh took all that away HE SOLD THE HOUSE and we are happily living in our new house and the young couple that bought our house seemed to be very happy as well."

"Hi Josh,
I apologize for just sort of disappering after the closing and not following up with you at all. We want to again thank you for the time you spent with us looking for the right cottage, walking through snow and across frozen lakes on your weekends. We are extremely excited about what we now have. We're just disappointed that we have to close it up soon for the winter, but certainly looking forward to next year. We've been going to the cottage most weekends since we closed in August. This past weekend was beautiful. We took the canoe and cayak out on the lake and had the entire thing to ourselves. I'm surprised how quiet it got after Labor Day. We're likely going to be closing up this weekend. The neighbors are great and we've become good friends with them. All we've done is replace the toilet, paint the kitchen (Kathy wanted to get rid of that blue color), and I cleaned out the shed a bit (actually found a pistol with live bullets locked in a drawer). Other than that it's pretty much the same. We've been lighting the fireplace the past few weekends to get the cold out which has been nice. Overall we are very happy with it.
