Derek is a licensed Residential Building Inspector and is certified by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). Prior to founding HomePoint, Derek held management positions with the following World-Class Manufacturing companies: BMW Manufacturing, Square D/Schneider Electric, Kyocera Mita, and Briggs & Stratton. Derek has a degree in Industrial Management from Georgia Southern University.
Derek and his wife, Sylina, reside in Germantown, TN with their 3 young children, Harrison, Reagan and Savannah.
