Covina, Ca is about 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. In past history it produced and shipped more oranges that the rest of the world combined. Many of its historic buildings especially in the downtown area were revitalized and are abuzz with activity . The most recognized is the City of Performing Arts building shown above.
There are restaurants, sidewalk dining, coffee shops, antiques stores, art galleries, gift/collectible stores, live theater, live music and don't forget the Farmers Market every Friday 5pm-9pm. And just a short walking distance is Covina Park with its weekly Arts n'Craft Fair.
