As a resident of Ocala/Marion County Florida since 1985, I am very familiar with the area and absolutely love living here. Marion County is often called the crossroads of Florida. Distinctive neighborhoods with lovely homes are situated throughout the county in price ranges for every budget. Marion County offers many possibilities from newly built country communities to weathered farm houses, scenic horse farms, quiet family subdivisions and grand estates.


Marion County is centrally located with easy access to highways leading to other major cities and attractions by traveling less than a few hours. With easy access to Orlando, Daytona and the Tampa Bay area, you will enjoy living In the heart of North Central Florida.

Ocala is known worldwide for its champion Thoroughbred horses. More than 75 percent of Florida's 600 Thoroughbred horse farms are located near Ocala, making it one of only four major centers for Thoroughbreds in the world.
