I am a native Texan and I've been a resident of Hernando County, Florida 3 years.  I married in 1995 and moved to Connecticut.  My husband's job transferred him to Michigan where we lived for 3 yrs before moving to Florida.  I am so glad to be back in warm weather althought we seriously looked into moving back to New England.  I'm not a fan of cold weather but I loved the convenience of getting to Boston or New York City in a couple of hours.  Fall is a fabulous time in New England.  We loved our neighborhood and all our friends we made there.  We still keep in touch with many of them. 

My business partner and I formed a team - The Bonnie & Susan Home Selling Team - so we could better work with our customers.  We handle luxury waterfront properties in Hernando Beach and beautiful luxury homes in Woodland Waters.  We have properties in gated communities such as Glen Lakes and The Waters.  We work with several builders such as Adams Homes, Jamelin Custom Builders and Mercedes Homes.  We have a Buyer's Specialist who works closely with our mortgage person.  Together they help first time homebuyers find programs that will help put them in their first home. 

I was in Customer Service for many years and before that I worked with some airlines and hotels.  I feel my experience working with the public has helped me in my real estate business.  I work with a partner and we work very hard to brand ourselves and to get as much education as we can.  We take every seminar our Board gives.  We are constantly reading articles related to the real estate industry. 

We started a staging business this year and offer that as a service to our customers.  We are members of the Hernando County Chamber of Commerce, Hernando County Board of Realtors, Florida Associaton of Realtors and National Association of Realtors.  We also joined the Hernando Association of Builders.    I am now working to get my GRI designation.   We have completed the education portion of our CIPS designation. 

We are also members of our local Rotary chapter.  We feel we need to be able to give back to our community.  We checked around and felt the Rotary was the way for us.  We are currently involved in building a park for dogs as well as families.  This is a huge project but it is well on its way. 

I live in Spring Hill, Florida with my husband and our two dogs - Jake, an English Mastiff and Stella, a Newfoundland.  We work in Spring Hill, Brooksville and Weeki Wachee as well as southern Citrus County.  Our Buyers Specialist, Ben Pietras, works with buyers from Tampa north to Citrus.

We are accredited professional stagers.  As a service to our customers, we offer complimentary staging to help them sell their house faster and for more money.  No one wants to reduce their price, and it has proven that staged homes sell faster in a slow market and for more money in a fast market.
