About Me 

I was born and raised in Idaho and have lived in Boise, Meridian, and now Nampa.  I absolutely love this state and this community.  The people here are so down to earth and friendly.  Idaho is a great place to raise a family and the landscapes are absolutely breath taking.  

Idaho has a large population of Basques.  I am 25% Basque.  Unfortuneatly, I can't speak the language, but I do know how to dance.  As a child I was involved in Boise'ko Gazteak and then joined the Oinkari Basque Dancers.  I graduated from Bishop Kelly High School (go Knights!) and then went up north to the University of Idaho where I became a member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternaty for Women.

Any one that lives in Idaho can testify that it is a state that has it all.  Visit the State of Idaho website for state facts, history, maps, recreation, pictures and more.  Idaho has so much to offer I have decided to use this blog to highlight my favorite spots. 

The City of McCall McCall Idaho is paradise when it comes to Mountain Recreation.  Out door activities include: Winter activities- downhill snow skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobile riding, snowshoeing, McCall's Winter Carnival and much more.  Make sure to check out the winter carnival!  Summer Activities- boating, water skiing, wake boarding, swimming, hiking, fishing, camping, golfing, and much more. 

Roaring Springs Water Park, Boise, Idaho- This is a great place to take the kids for some serious summer fun. 

The Basque Museum and Cultural CenterTo learn about the Basque culture and how Basque people came to the west, visit the Basque Museum and cultural center.  If you are lucky you might be able to see the Oinkari dancers perform a folk dance from their home land "Euskadi." 

 For phenomenal outdoor recreation visit Sun Valley, Idaho. You may even be able to get a peek at one of the many Hollywood stars who have homes here.
