My name is Lorin Rothbell  owner of Long Island Expert Home Inspections. 

NYS License # 16000020780  I have been a life long resident of Long Island. I currently reside in North Massapequa, New York. From when I was a child up until now, I always had a knack for noticing things that other people missed.

With over 35 years in the construction field I enjoy educating people about the condition of their house and give recommendations to correct the found deficiencies or how to maintain their property. Even before home inspections were getting recognized by educated Realtors, friends and family would always comment on how they thought that it would be great idea for me to get into the home inspection field. I always recognized problems and had a way about explaining issues in terms that anyone could understand. So here I am today performing home inspections with the utmost professionalism. My regard for the client is extremely professional, yet also personal. I understand the pressures and excitement when purchasing a home. With stresses of acquiring a mortgage to trusting your real estate agent to guide you through the whole process can be daunting. My services will allow the stress levels to be reduced where my client can enjoy the home inspection process and easily understand my findings. I always encourage the client to present and participate during the home inspection.

I am affiliated with NACHI the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors and NYSAHI New York State Association of Home Inspectors. These organizations are a great educational resource for the home inspector.
