 A Little more about Jamie...

Some things are just meant to be...   Perhaps that explains the path that has led Jamie Wilson to find her calling in real estate. After all, her life's purpose has always been to assist deserving people, like you, to achieve their goals. And, of course, what bigger goal is there than purchasing a home of your own?  

A true native Washingtonian, Jamie realized early-on the vast importance of traditional values such as community and family. As she grew up, she was blessed to be surrounded by the ties of a strong community, and strengthened by the love and guidance of a caring family. But even at that young age, Jamie quickly came to realize that the one piece that was missing from her own slice of the American dream was a house that she and her family could call their own.   Even when she was called away from this area at different points in her life, Jamie always felt the tug of returning to her roots here in the Washington DC area. After all, as the saying goes, there's no place like home. 

In the many years since she has returned, a broad variety of interests have kept her busy and always on the go. A dedicated church member...a spirited volleyball player...an active participant in the local fashion and music scene...all of these are integral parts of the life that Jamie enjoys.   But, the #1 priority in her life has always been...and will always be...her role as a caring and nurturing Mother. Her son, Marc, is the source of her personal fulfillment, and it is the pride and joy of watching him grow and develop that has truly spurred Jamie into her own professional and spiritual growth.   Caring so much for her son is just reflective of the entire focus of Jamie's life goal: helping others succeed and in a "5 Star Manner". When you combine that drive to help others, along with her lifelong love of home, you would have to agree that it was destiny that she would end-up making her career in real estate.   Jamie Opens Doors is more than just a slogan. Jamie's motivation...her passion...the very force that drives every transaction that she handles...is the immense satisfaction that comes with opening doors for others.   Isn't it time that you let Jamie Open Doors for you?  Let's Open Doors Together!

The most common myth is that a Short Sale and a Foreclosure/Bank Owned Property is the same thing.  IT IS NOT!!  Short Sales have different impacts on you as the Homeowner than a Foreclosure/Bank Owned property does.

It is vital to work with someone with specialized training. When you don't, the risk of foreclosure is greater as well as why the majority of short sales are not accepted or take so long to close and buyers lose interest.

Homeowners who are in the pre-foreclosure process should to speak with a trained expert as quickly as possible. For many homeowners foreclosure is not the only option however most do not get the opportunity to explore solutions.
