About Us:

I began my career in real estate when my husband, Jack,and I  were trying to sell our former business in Blairsville, GA. When no one could sell this property, I said, "I can do this!" Thus, 16 years ago a career was born. I truly love the challenge of real estate and I love working with people. I am licensed in Georgia & North Carolina.

I have been a resident of Blairsville, Union County, Georgia, since 1985. I moved to this area because of its beauty and the change of seasons, as well as, the wonderful local people. Born and raised in Thomasville, GA, I started in the dental field and after 12 years, moved to Atlanta and worked as a dental hygienist for an additional 12 years. I married Jack 30 years ago and moved to Sea Island, GA from Atlanta. We have four grown children who live in various cities.

With the full support of my husband and friends, I, a life member of the Million Dollar Club, opened my own real estate firm in July 2002. When asked about my famous motto, "Everything We Touch Turns to SOLD", I give credit to my daughter who lives in California for giving me something similar to this long before I decided to open my own business. With some creativity on my part, the new motto was born.

Are you looking for an awesome time searching for a home in the Georgia Mountains; time that would be fun, exciting and stress-free?  Let me tell you about our experience with Jane Baer Realty in Blairsville, Georgia.

Jane's ear hung on our every word as we sat in her office and shared our dream of the "perfect" home in the mountains.  It would be a get-away for us, the semi-retired parents and the vacationing children, grandchildren and great grandchildren in our family.  It had to have a dynamite view that was the most important thing.  We needed 3 bedrooms and 3 baths and a game room for the kids.  Pretty big order we knew.  We had no idea that something would be found so quickly!  We had l and 1/2 days to look.  On the first day Jane had several for us to look at but none spoke to us. On the second day at the second home, we both just knew. The view took our breath away!  And the home was so very beautiful.  Lots of wood, which we love.  Everything about it was truly "perfect".

Jane worked very hard for us the next 2 weeks as there were some complications, but she never gave up.  She knew how much we felt this home was to be ours and she just would not give up.  We are so thankful that she didn't.

Jane is no longer just the agent that got us our dream home in the mountains, (I named it Hope Cottage), she is a new friend.  Thoughts of the mountains automatically include Jane and Phyllis, her receptionist, who is the most delightful gal.

God gave us this place and He used Jane and Phyllis to help us find it.   He has given us a beautiful get-away in the mountains and two wonderful friends.

Jane never pressured us or made us feel uncomfortable.  She was always just a step away if we had questions, but waited for us to ask.  She made our time spent looking so pleasurable.  The time just flew by. Not all homes will be found this quickly but we know that Jane will work very hard for you as she did for us if you will give her the chance, so come on, give her a chance!
