Before the sale of our loft we interviewed 3 agents, all very experienced and well known in the Toronto condo and loft realty circles. Jarrett was the clear choice for us for many reasons. He was the most confident and knowledgeable. He addressed all our questions concisely and expertly, leaving us with a sense that he really cared about us as clients and was intent on selling the property as quickly as possible yet with the right price for us as well. We were the first unit to sell in our new building so setting the right price was crucial.

He was also genuinely excited about the property and it’s potential which is always nice to have in an agent. The others we interviewed seemed uninspired and wanted to set our price too low, giving us the impression that they just wanted to sell quickly for any price.

Jarrett also impressed us with his accessibility, a quality sometimes hard to find in agents. He would respond to emails and phone calls immediately and at all times of the day, always being warm and personable.

He put forth some great suggestions for staging the loft, immediately held an agents tour, and scheduled an open house for the public the following weekend. The agents tour had an overwhelming response with dozens of agents showing up and throughout the week we had 20-30 more agents arrive with their clients for showings even before the open house.

One week later when we were taking offers, we had two registered and another two inquiries about offers which told us that the property was priced right and desirable. The two offers came in well over asking and Jarrett handled the agents so professionally. We were very thankful to him for guiding us through the process so skillfully and getting us $35,000 over our asking price.

After the sale, I started to look for another property to buy and he and I spent a few Saturdays going from property to property. He was always quick about booking showings and always made himself available. I definitely wasn’t looking for something with a big price tag but that didn’t seem to matter to him. Getting me into a place that I could call home and could be happy with did.
