Experience.

I began my mortgage career in January 2000. I made the transition from working in the automotive field to the mortgage field which was fairly easy for me. Part of my job as a sales and leasing consultant was completing applications for my clients along with looking at credit reports and collecting the required income, insurance and identity documents that went along with financing and registering a vehicle. I also learned how important customer service was and over the years the level of service I provide has rewarded me with loyal clients who continue to refer their friends and family to me. I am approaching 10 years as a mortgage professional and everyday I continue to meet and work with great clients. This helps keep my job fun and rewarding and I am very thankful for this.

I have been involved in many different types of mortgage transactions. I've originated small equity loans all the way up to commercial mortgages on multi unit properties and retail properties. Over the years, the most common reason for my clients to refinance a mortgage was to reduce their overall monthly expenses and put themselves in a much stronger financial position. During the current market, I have seen an increase in purchase applications as more clients who took themselves out of the market because of soaring house prices are now coming back in as home values have come down and the mortgage rates look very attractive. Everything is on sale and this is a great time to buy!

Along with the many loans I have closed over the years, I have also been a resource to colleagues in this industry as people have turned to me for my opinions or thoughts on a specific product or client position. More and more real estate agents are turning to me as well. Many times I am the person industry partners turn to for their own financing.

As a Branch Manager I look forward to growing my branch to a size that will allow for the branch to eventually move to a larger location as well as creating new jobs to help better assist this branches client needs. I also look forward to being able to inspire and motivate others to work at a level that is their personal best and at the same time continue to help homeowners realize their dreams of getting an affordable mortgage.
