There is something to be said about being able to drive around all the unique neighborhoods in Seattle and surrounding areas and preview, buy and sell homes right in your own backyard. Understanding what is happening in the Seattle real estate market is a good first step. I can help sift through the confusion. It's a great time to buy. You can get more value for your money. You can be pickier on your choices. There just aren't the bidding wars we saw three and four years ago. You can take a little extra time to find your "you'll know it when you see it" home. You are that lucky. I recommend doing your research using all the handy tools available to you. Research your favorite neighborhoods and do your homework with a lender to find out where you fit. Lastly, choose a real estate agent who will be on your team. You can't go it alone. Why would you want to? It's a large investment you can't take lightly.
