About Jules:

My name is Jules B. Yates and I bring more than 20 years full time experience to Exit Realty Corporation.  After 17 years as an independent broker I joined Exit Realty Paramount in October 2007.  It turned out to be the best decission of my life and business is great.

As the son of a real estate developer, I literally grew up in the business.  I have worked all over the state of Michigan and have sold and developed property my entire career.  With a particular specialty in site condominium subdivisions, I am capable of helping buyers find the right parcel to develop, helping you design and layout your project, helping you get governmental approval and finally marketing your project.

I am the current Chairman of the Traverse Area Association of Realtors (TAAR) Multiple Listing Service (MLS) Committee.  As MLS Chair I sit on the Board of Directors for TAAR and I am a member of the Professional Standards Committee for TAAR as well.

I have earned the National Association of Realtors ABR (Accredited Buyers Representative) Designation. The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council (REBAC) of the National Association of REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.

I've recently attained two other certifications including GREEN. NAR's Green Designation provides advanced training in green building and sustainable business practices so that you can seek out, understand, and market properties with green features.  Also recently attained was the SFR Designation.

Designed for real estate professionals at all experience levels, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource certification, or SFR for short, gives me a framework for understanding how to:
