John Damiano

John Damiano was born and educated in Los Angeles, California where he met his wife Jeannette. John and Jeannette have been married over 25 years. They have three children, John III, Michael Angelo, and Mary Elizabeth.

John and his family have lived in Atlanta since 1999. John spent over 30 years in retail executive management, where he held many different positions, including EVP of C&R Clothiers, President and CEO of Barbeques Galore, COO of Busybody Fitness, and VP of Operations of K&G Superstores, a division of the Men's Wearhouse.

In 2002, John left the retail business to pursue a career in real estate in Atlanta. In 2002, John was recognized by RE/MAX® Greater Atlanta as the Rookie of the Year. He has achieved Lifetime status in the Million Dollar Club, 100% Club, Executive Club. The Providence Group was recognized by Communities Magazine as one of the Top 100 Teams in Metro Atlanta in "2006". John has sat on the RE/MAX® Greater Atlanta Agent Advisory Board. John is also a member of the Atlanta Executive Forum, Business Network International, Sandy Springs Business Owner's Roundtable and Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce.

John enjoys being with his family, reading, golfing, tennis, and most sports. John enjoys people and developing life long relationships. He enjoys life and giving his time and knowledge to help others.

My name is Jamal.

John Damiano assisted my family with a home purchase in October of 2005. John's professionalism made the house buying process a painless event.

Specifically during the house buying process John prevented us from making a mistake that would have cost a thousand plus in earnest money. Shortly after placing a contract on a property we found out it was in a flood zone and that our flood insurance would be in the thousands instead of the hundreds per year (almost $10,000). After several quotes and conversations with the selling agent we thought we would be out of our earnest money, however John informed us that he added a clause to the contract. The clause that he added specifically mentioned that if we were in a flood zone than we could terminate the contract. We did and we got our earnest money back. Having the right person with the right experience is a great thing.
