In July 2006 I decided to sell my home in Hunterdon County NJ. I have always sold my homes using a realtor and this time would be no different. There are several very important reasons that I feel that engaging a realtor over trying to sell it myself, more than outweigh the commission for their professional services. I talked to a friend who had their home sold by Jean and I contacted her.

Jean came over and did an analysis on my home and advised me on the various services she could provide me with such as realtor networking, inter agency relationships, location information / demographics, comparative pricing and market strategies, and professional web service exposure. I was very impressed and signed on with her that August. 

By October Jean had brought to us a cash buyer and I was very happy. The following week our cash buyer backed out because the housing market had started to slip downward and they felt they would get a better buy in several months. I discussed this with Jean and she said not to worry as in her professional opinion my house would sell. Jean had done a wonderful presentation of my home on several web services and we were getting many hits.

In January I received a call from Jean that I had an offer, which surprised me because it was mid winter and still in a housing sale decline. The buyer's offer came within $12,000 of my asking price which was another surprise. All worked out just as Jean had said it would and went through closing without and problems.

I would highly recommend Jean to anyone selling their home as I know that her professional abilities sold my home at the slow time of the year and in a market downturn.

Jean also accompanied me with the house inspection, took notes which really gave me the freedom to spend my time just concentrating on the inspection itself. She was very accommodating with being available to me, since my schedule was very tight.
