Growing up on a small family farm in Waushara County exposed me to one of my greatest loves, nature. After high school, I attended Beloit College focusing my studies on political science and environmental studies. Post graduation, I relocated to Madison where I became a Property Manager. Property management prompted me to get my real estate broker’s license.  Within a few years I felt the need to leap into residential real estate sales.  Real estate sales was a great fit for me because it allowed me to continue the volunteer work I am passionate about; promoting environmental awareness while giving me a platform to speak. Since becoming a full time Realtor, I have lead environmental groups such as Sierra Club and Madison’s Green Agents.

I have just taken up the art of knitting, am learning to speak French, and love to spend time gardening.

Energy Efficiency Mortgage

In the period between Accepted Offer and Closing an initial Energy Evaluation will be conducted. This evaluation conducted by a RESNET certified inspector and clients are provided with an improvement analysis and shown what improvements will ultimately pay for themselves. The cost of these improvements are rolled up into the mortgage on the property, and paid over time. Why is this a great program? The benefits the client enjoy are: Increased home value (apprised value increased with improvements), Larger tax deductions (higher mortgage balance), same or lower monthly bills (increase in mortgage amount is more then offset by decrease in heating and electrical), more comfort and energy savings.
