Areas of Expertise
Paul & Jerri have lived in the Athens area for 15 years and are very involved with the community. They are members of the Chamber of Commerce and have been involved in volunteer activities supporting the Oconee County Commissioners, Athens Academy, and both have completed the Leadership Oconee program offered through the Chamber of Commerce.
They attend realtor functions frequently and actively work to stay up to date on new developments in the area. Paul currently serves on the MLS Board of Directors for the Athens Area Association of Realtors. Paul has the following designations: ePRO, GRI, Life Member Million Dollar Club- AAAR, and Jerri is an Associate Broker, ePRO, GRI, Life Member Million Dollar Club- AAAR and CDPE.
Jerri works with homeowners in need of assistance to avoid foreclosure. She holds the CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation and can help with loan modifications, short sales and other options available to homeowners. There are many agents handling short sales with no training to help them get through the process. This course provided a detailed reference guide, checklists, disclosure forms and much more.
We have been involved with short sales but now have the systems in place to make the process move more quickly. We can explain the various options available to homeowners facing foreclosure -- loan modification, forebearance, short sale, deed-in-lieu or foreclosure -- and the affects of each on the credit report.
