Who's Jim?

A Broker-Associate in business since 1988. I hold the GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute) & CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations and have been in this office since 1992. I'm a native of Paso Robles, raised on a cattle ranch (even attended a 1 room schoolhouse...back in the days!), I went east to college, (BA Harvard University) then the Navy, Assistant Legal Officer, USS Enterprise), then lived & travelled in Africa for a time, came home and discovered the Grand Canyon. Became a boatman on the Colorado guiding trips until I met my wife, the artist Anne Laddon (www.anneladdon.com) & we started our family.

What About Paso Robles & Northern San Luis Obispo County?

Paso Robles is really too small a market to be able to specialize completely in one specific area. Nonetheless, though I was pleased to be able to represent 6 "first time buyers" in 2008 (most of whom were referrals from past clients), I think if you asked around the community I am know for my knowledge about the Lake Nacimiento area, and just about anything concerned with agriculture. Having grown up on a cattle ranch, received a Masters in Agriculture from Cal Poly, and still with a "keep me sane" herd of Angus cattle, my love of land helps me help those who come looking for their dream without really knowing what they want to do with it!
