  • REALTOR - Realtors are members in good standing with the National Association of Realtors.  Anyone with a real estate license can be an agent, but as a Realtor, I have pledged to uphold a high standard of conduct and service to the Buyers and Sellers of Minnesota real estate that I represent.
  • ABR - Accredited Buyer's Representative.  ABR members have achieved a level of competence and reliability you can count on.  With, of course, expertise in helping Buyers buy successfully.
  • SRS - Sellers Representative Specialist.  With special emphasis on helping a Seller make the most of their opportunities to get their home sold.  As quickly as possible.  Also featuring negotiation skills.
  • e-Pro - This designation attests to knowledge of and expertise in electronic tools in marketing of homes, communicating with clients, etc. 
  • GRI - Graduate Realtor Institute.  If a person were to think about the level of education needed to become a licensed real estate agent as grade school, getting a GRI is kind of like graduating from high school.  Graduates have a more thorough grounding in the basics.  The other certifications are more like college degrees.  (Of course this isn't the best analogy, but it's the best one I can come up with at the moment.)
