A Little About Me:

I grew up right here in Vermont in the town of Guilford, just south of Brattleboro.

I realized at an early age that I was a work-aholic, starting my first summer job at the age of 12 and just never looking back.

I tried to stay out of the family business for years, taking many jobs that were similar, but not wanting to be in real estate. I did retail sales, management, customer service positions, everything that lends itself to being a good real estate agent, but without that next step. When I finally did take the plunge, it was like learning to swim. All of a sudden I just got it. The thrill of seeing a property through my Buyers' eyes. The work to get the best deal for my Sellers in a less than ideal market. It is like a great rollercoaster ride both filling me with energy and taking it away in the next breath. Any real estate agent that tells you different, well...

I recently moved to West Chesterfield, New Hampshire with my wife, Lindsay, and our 2 cats. Not just ordinary cats mind you, but these come when they are called and seem inclined to follow simple commands. We are currently settling in and working on getting everything unpacked. In a bit, we will start the work around the house and turn this into our home!

My approach to real estate is to look at things and see how they are interacting before I go pulling or pushing on something. One of the most important things to understand when going into a real estate deal is the motivation. What is the Sellers' motivation? What is the Buyers' motivation? Is there any place where these two things are going to clash and cause friction? So, when I work with someone, I am going to ask questions. I need to know things about you that will enable me to understand your point of view. That way, I can work on matching my Buyers with the best property in the right situation and also help my Sellers to get the right Buyers for the sale that works best for both sides.

Real Estate can be a confusing thing. Kinda like juggling some fine antique china. You have to keep everything moving smoothly, otherwise it all goes to pieces. That is where I come in.

Areas of Expertise

Condos: Having owned a Condo with a less than ideal association and management company, I learned a lot about the inner workings. If you have the need to sell or the motivation to buy a condominium, give me a call. I can help you navigate through the way it all meshes together.

Foreclosures: Being in an office that handles a lot of foreclosure properties throughout Vermont and New Hampshire, I have learned a thing or two about the paperwork and how the Sellers work with the properties. If you think you want to take on what can be an incredibly needy property, let me help you do it.

Residential Listings: Home sales. The bread and butter of real estate in the Brattleboro area of Vermont. From listing, marketing, offers, inspections, and sales, this is what my real estate is on a daily basis.

Marketing: If you are looking to list your home or even if you are looking to buy real estate, you need someone that goes above and beyond for the marketing. When you list with me, you will see your home on dozens of websites. I have my own webpage, so that I am personally marketing your property above the already formidable marketing done by Coldwell Banker and Coldwell Banker Bellville Realty. That means more opportunities for people to see your property. I put your property out there, so that anyone with the smallest interest in owning something like your house will see it and have the opportunity to view it. BUYERS - why is marketing important for you. If I have all of these sources that I put information out to, that means that I KNOW where to find information if someone is not necessarily using the traditional marketing approach. Therefore, I may find your dream home on some obscure webpage and put you onto it. Selling or Buying, you need someone that knows how to market real estate.
