About Concepts by CoCo:
I am an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) trained by Barb Schwarz herself in the unique art of "staging" a home for sale. I enjoy every aspect of staging - from moving heavy furniture up 3 flights of stairs in the rain - to placing the last little finishing touch into a home that will tell everyone that this home was staged by Concepts by Coco.
Areas of Expertise
My usual staging includes what we call a full stage. This means staging one or more rooms with complete furniture and accessories to make it seem lived-in - but NOT cluttered! The placement of the furniture will ensure that the prospective buyers will get a sense of how to use the room to it's fullest advantage. The rooms will appear light and airy and comfortable. A place where the buyer would want to sit down and read a book (well placed by me, of course).
Another alternative is "vignette" staging. More applicable in smaller rooms or rooms with awkward spaces or traffic patterns. This we accomplish by using limited furnishings - just giving the illusion of what the space could be.
I can also provide a written report to a homeowner stating exactly what should be done to the home from painting to planting to clutter, before being listed on the market. The homeowners would then complete the work themselves and when finished I would come in for final touches if needed.
