Hi there,
My name is James Adair and I have been in Portland OR since 2000. I moved here from the Raleigh/Chapel Hill NC area to seek fame and fortune in a Rock and Roll band, and decided to get into Mortgages because I was always interested in Sales, and Real Estate, and most of all, I wanted to keep my schedule flexible.
Of course one thing led to another, and I find myself a wife, and begin investing in earnest in this great town in which we find ourselves. I still perform on my Fender Bass locally and sometimes on some shorter tour situations in a group called "Dolorean" http://dolorean.wordpress.com/
I love what I do, and I love Portland. So I'm always fired up to help people invest in this community and get a leg up through Home ownership.
Portland Mortgage Broker
I have been a mortgage broker in the Portland area since 2003. My passion is to try and go beyond just setting up a standard mortgage for competitive rates and dig into my clients overall financial picture.
I have used the appreciation from my first home to leverage into 2 additional properties and I help my clients understand their opportunities as well. So I have quite a bit of experience in advising first time investors, and experienced investors alike.
I also perform annual equity reviews to keep up with their changes in income, debt, equity, etc. and make sure they are always properly positioned for maximum wealth and optimum cash flow.
My company Mortgage trust is a correspondent bank where we control the entire approval, doc delivery, and funding for Conforming, Jumbo and FHA loans locally.
I have recently begun studying to receive my designation as a Certified Divorce Planner. This is a service that helps those in a family transition protect their Credit, Assets, Dependents, and Estate during and after a divorce.
