I know how it is when you need to make a decision - at first, it seems like a great idea to get online and gather all the info you can. If you're searching for a real estate agent you read profiles, blogs, client testimonials, check out web sites.   But then, hours later, you realize - you've got information overload and more questions than you started with!

That may be how you're feeling about choosing a real estate agent. I'd like to make it easy for you to choose me, so I'll make this committment: I will personally respond to your emails or phone calls right away, take the time to answer all your questions, and do my darndest to earn your trust. For now let me describe how I work with people. Hopefully, you'll get a feeling for my professionalism and commitment, but also for my personality and character, so you'll know if we 'fit'.

First, I love e-mail. Sometimes I EM people for several months before we get to meet. If you have questions I'll gladly take the time to answer, with no guarantee I'll ever get paid for doing so. I am trying to earn your business, of course, but I always respond with sincerity and in a timely manner.

I consider real estate a service profession.  Some examples - if a document needs to be signed, I don't ask you to take time off work or personal time to meet me at my office.  I will go to where you are, when it's convenient for you and I provide online document signing for those who are comfortable with that. If a service person needs to be met at a home as a condition of a transaction, I make myself available to meet them for you. If a buyer wants information from the city or county, and the seller doesn't have it, I offer to get it personally. As your agent, I proactively make sure you understand contingencies, inspections, home warranties, disclosures, provisions, etc., before you even know to ask.

I have a marketing plan that I use for every listing. It starts out virtually the same as every other agent's, except I have a far greater internet presence than the vast majority of other agents.  And once the punch-list is complete I don't just sit back and wait for offers.  I continue to put all my energy into creating new opportunities tailored to the specific property. For example, offering a golf membership to the buyer of a home within walking distance of a golf course. Just a little something to make the home stand out.  Whenever there is a price change, or status change, I notify all agents who showed the house, so they don't forget about it should their client still be looking.

For buyers, I preview homes so they aren't wasting time seeing houses that don't meet their needs.  This is especially valuable for relocating buyers. I write reports on each property and take photos, so the buyer has a great feel for our market before they even get out here.

For every closing, I do my best to not schedule anything else for that day or the day before. That way, at least one agent is available to handle last minute problems, should they arise. You may not even realize how valuable that is, until you buy or sell a house in today's market, with today's mortgage woes and complicated contracts.

Real Estate Between Denver and Boulder

I sell residential real estate in the areas north and west of Denver, Colorado - between Denver and Boulder is a great way to describe it.  That's a short sentence, but it covers a lot of ground! I live in Arvada - a great little town with a historical town center.  Arvada, Westminster, Thornton, Broomfield, Golden, Lakewood, Wheat Ridge - all great towns with unique flair.

I have worked with huge multi-generational families, first-time buyers, singles, down-sizers, relocators, credit-challenged individuals and financially savvy investors. I can't figure out who my favorites are - whoever I'm working with at the time always seems like my favorites!

I have been a licensed agent in Colorado since September, 2001. It's been a tough market here the entire time I've been licensed, so I know how to handle it.
