About John Allaire

My experience with a wide variety of real estate transactions and professional engineering background work well together to  provide an ideal fit for buyers and sellers utilizing my professional real estate services.  My clients are able to enjoy the process, since I take care of all details involved in a transaction.  Each geographical area has its own personality, and with that, idiosyncracies buyers need to be made aware of.  For instance, in my local market area, many homes are on septic systems, wells or private culinary and irrigation water systems, so these areas deserve special attention during due diligence.  Because I work in a mountain community, many areas have above average Radon readings, so I recommend that every home inspection should include a Radon test.  Roof design and maintenance is another important area many clients aren't aware of until they are well into the winter months.  Many areas of the Ogden Valley receive over 150" of snow every winter, and it is critical new homeowners are made aware how important it is to keep eaves and gutters clear and free of ice by using heat tape and roof rakes to avoid ice dams in January.  The list goes on.  The key to making a real estate purchase as foolproof as possible is to take advantage of local knowledge and expertise.
