I grew up in the Bay Area, Oakland and Los Altos. BA in Literature and Sociology. Secondary Teaching Credential. Taught one year in Japan and two years in Peru in the American Overseas Schools system. Traveled in over 50 countries. I speak Spanish fairly well, my wife is Bilingual. We settled in Nevada City, CA in 1977. We have 3 daughters, two still in college.

As a secondary business I am a photographer and have occasional exhibitions of new work. the most recent exhibition was at the Red Oak Gallery in Berkeley, Ca, June, 2009. My work is landscape, abstract and travel. I am working on a new website.
