There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.

That said, in my experience as a full-service real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.

This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients. You will discover very quickly that I prefer the role of a real estate consultant and trusted advisor over that of a salesman.

Real estate is simply a tool, given to me and blessed by God, to provide for my family and others around me. Sound financial planning is essential to prepare for the future, but the truth of the matter is that none of us are guaranteed tomorrow. I want to do all I can today to meet the needs of those around me and abroad. Our focus must be on that which is eternal and not the things of this world. I aim to glorify God in all I do and hopefully that is very evident in my treatment of others and in the way I manage my family, my business and finances.

In January 2007, I had the opportunity to travel to a region of the world where families have been doing just that longer than they can remember. The people of Ethiopia are a hard-working people, eager to provide for their families and change the face of Africa. Unfortunately, like in most third world countries financial resources are not readily available.

I have committed my entire business to assisting IAP in providing financial resources to these beautiful people. In 2008, my personal goal is to raise $200,000 USD to fund the Letta Micro-Finance Institute. This MFI gives small business loans to the women of Ethiopia to start or fund family businesses. In an effort to reach this goal, 100% of my profits will be donated to IAP. I encourage you to come along side me in this effort and experience the blessing as you bless others.
