"My wife and I decided to put our house on the market last year to take advantage of the buyers being brought to market by the new home buyer tax credit.  Our thought was, throw a "For Sale By Owner" sign in the front yard and let the bidding wars begin.  Needless to say, after a month or so on the market we weren't getting much traffic.  One of the few calls inquiring about the house came from Geoff Wohl and John Nitzken.  Over the phone I could tell they were passionate about selling real estate, so I decided to make an appointment for them to look at the house.  After looking at the house thoroughly, they proclaimed they could sell the house in about 14 days and for more than my current asking price.  I really don't know what was more impressive, the 15-20 people that looked at the house the first weekend or the offer we accepted after it had been on the market for 15 days.  If anyone has ever sold a house, you know that accepting an offer isn't the last step.  The famous final inspection is surely to follow and can be a stressful time for both the buyer and seller.  John and Geoff went out of their way on several occasions to ensure our house was ready, in top shape and that the closing went through without a hitch.
