In 2009, I obtained the CSP (Certified Short Sale Professional) Designation. After dealing with a few buyers and submitting offers on short sale houses, I realized that the majority of real estate agents have NO IDEA how to get through the short sale process with the bank. Just like you wouldn't allow a foot doctor (even though he is a doctor), operate on your heart, don't allow a non-certified short sale professional handle your short sale.
