My name is John Powers. I am a commercial real estate agent and business broker specializing in selling restaurants, convenience stores, and gas stations. I work for a company called Paramount Restaurant Bokers, Inc. We use the (DBA) doing business as names of Selling Restaurants and Selling Stores for extremely effective marketing purposes. From the very beginning of joining the company I have seen first hand results of how our business model works. I was fortunnate enough to close several deals within my first 4 months of joining the company. I was able to do that and continue to have success because we have access to over 15,000 registered buyers on our site actively searching for restaurants and other business opportunities for sale. I am able to take a new listing and match it up with buyers that are actively looking for something similar, making the difficult process of finding buyers for our sellers that much easier.
Before I became a commercial real estate agent I went to school at University of Washington (GO DAWGS!) and worked full time as a concierge and building manager at a couple of condo buildings in downtown Seattle. During that time I was able to get a good feel for the restaurant market and other small businesses around the Seattle area. I also have small business experience of my own. Before going to college I was co-owner of a succcessful landscaping and lawn care company for several years.
I now love what I do and I am excited about providing outstanding business brokerage and real estate services to Washington business owners.
