About Us:
Lylene Johnson
Office Broker and Listing Specialist
Lylene is unusually adept at understanding and identifying properties that meet a buyer's specific needs, but her primary focus is on helping a seller to properly position a property in the market. She also handles the Lummi Island portion of our business and provides the structure which keeps us functioning as a team.
Personal History
Lylene grew up on the family farm in a small Eastern Washington farming community. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1969 with a degree in Home Economics, which she later taught for 5 years at the middle and high school levels. Rich and Lylene married in 1967 and with the exception of the first few years after college graduation have always worked together. They began, owned and operated The Islander on Lummi Island for 11 years. Upon its sale, they began, owned and operated a bakery in the Everett Mall for 2 1/2 years. Lylene became a full-time realtor in 1988. She and Rich have two sons, Chandler 30 and Graham 24.

Rich Johnson - Listing Specialist
Rich helps people sell property and is active in the development of our marketing and specialty programs, but his primary focus lies with our buyers. His ability to help a buyer from the first steps of defining their needs to the last closing detail is exceptional. He works with residential, land and investment purchases and is a master at keeping his client fully involved and informed throughout the process.
Personal History
Rich grew up in his parents' drug store in a small Eastern Washington farming community. He served 3 years in the US Marine Corps after graduation from high school. Upon discharge from the Corps, he attended the University of Washington, graduating in 1969 with a degree in International Business.

Mike Bredeson- Buyer Specialist
Mike is fully capable of dealing with all aspects of the real estate industry, but he excels at helping people find homes and land. Mike grew up in Ferndale, Washington and graduated from Ferndale High School. He served in the US Marine Corps as an engineer for 4 years after high school. He has been a lisenced realtor since 1992. Married in 2002, his wife, Kim owns and operates a hair salon in Bellingham. Mike loves to fish, golf, mountain bike and hike; and has a real soft spot for his nieces and nephews.

Graham grew up in Lummin Island, Washington and graduated from Ferndale High School. Upon graduation he went straight to work doing construction in Alaska. After his return it was off to school at Eastern Washington University in Cheney. He has been studying and working hard ever since. In his spare time Graham enjoys boating, hiking, and spending time with his family and friends.

Fawn Macaras- Office Manager, Closing Specialist
Fawn is the team's backbone. She performs on the promises that we make our clients by ensuring that systems are followed and deadline are met. Her involvement in the development of programs and systems keeps them realistic and achievable. Her involvement in relocating clients keeps everyone assured that their move will be a positive one. She also served the team and and our clients by ensuring that our web site is up and running . She submits our listings to numerous web sites and is sure to include the proper buyer and seller information.
Personal History
Fawn was born in Seattle, Washington and moved around the West Coast before settling in Bellingham. She completed her Associates Degree in Sociology at Whatcom Community College. She has been with The Johnson Team for 4 years and serves as an integral part of the team. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, going to sprint car races, attending sporting events, riding her four wheeler and playing with her dog Yukon.

Nickie Snyder- Communications Manager
Nickie ensures that your property is prominetly displayed on the Internet and in local print media with engagin descriptions in order to attract more people to our listings. She also keeps the community up to date on the Johnson Team through our Whatcom Homes Newspaper and manages our Bellingham Blog.
Personal History
Nickie was born and rasied in Langley, BC and graduated from Trinity Western University in 2002 with a B.A. in Communications and International Studies. After indulging her passion for travel for several years, she moved to the USA to marry her husband Phil. Nickie enjoys baking, reading and camping as well as working with the kids program at her church.
