Description
Serving sellers and buyers of residential real estate in the Metrowest Boston area full time since 1993. I always put my clients needs first.

About Me:

As a full-time REALTOR since 1992, I believe I have the necessary experience to negotiate the best possible price and terms for you.  Being a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS - less than 4% of all REALTORS in the U.S. hold this designation) and a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) has provided me with the advanced marketing knowledge and skills required to make your transaction as smooth, pleasant, and rewarding as possible.

Over 70% of my business comes from repeat buyers and sellers and personal referrals. Satisfied clients are my primary goal.

As a Natick resident, homeowner and parent of a child in the Public School system, I am personally committed to the community. The relationships I have built throughout the community and my extensive personal knowledge of the area will work to your advantage when you use me to represent you in the purchase or sale of your home.

My Objective:

My objective is to listen closely to your needs and work diligently to assist you in meeting your real estate goals. When you are an informed buyer or seller, you'll make the best decisions for the most important purchase or sale in your lifetime. That's why one of my goals is to keep you informed on trends in the marketplace using the latest statistics in your local area.  With property values continuing to rise, real estate will be a sound investment now and in the future.

Testimonials

"Now that we've begun to settle into our new home, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for your wonderful advice, support, and generosity. Because of the professionalism and patience you showed during our first home buying experience, we knew that when we decided to buy a new house, we would ask you to serve as our realtor. Your insight about the housing market, people's tastes and needs, and the Natick community, allowed us to sell our house within in four days and at almost (99%) asking price! That's amazing for this type of market, and we owe it all to you. By following your advice down to the letter about what to renovate, repair, and rearrange, our house generated the most interest of all houses for sale in our price range in Natick.

We also want to thank you for your guidance and support throughout our home buying experience. Your recommendation to consider a different part of town than we originally decided upon proved to be the best advice. We have always wanted to live in the "generals" neighborhood, and to buy the very first home you showed us was unbelievable! Most of all, the entire home buying, mortgage, lawyer, inspection experiences went so smoothly because of your guidance, recommendations and organizational skills.

We are very happy in our new home. We would recommend you highly to anyone interested in selling or buying property. People have even asked us. ‘How did you sell your house so fast?" and we tell them, "We had a great realtor.'"

"Jon- I know I have expressed my gratitude many times during our transaction, but I thought I'd take a second to put it on paper.

"When I first contacted you about a year ago regarding selling my in-laws house in Natick, all I asked you for was some comparables and told you that we MAY be putting their property on the market in the Spring or Summer.  You responded promptly with the information I needed, without pressuring me for a listing.

"We got my in-laws moved to their winter home in Arizona and we listed the house on about August 8, 2008.  Here I am on September 30, 2008, with the house sold, transaction closed and money in the bank!  That's impressive in a good market, but in the current climate-unbelievable!  The reasons for the successful sale?  Accurate pricing, leading edge technology, aggressive negotiation, and great communication with seller, attorneys, co-brokers.

"Our transaction had a few more logistical challenges than some- Sellers in their 80's in Arizona, Daughter-in-Law/ power of attorney in Washington State, property in Natick- but the transaction was so smooth you would've thought we were all in the same room!

"As a Realtor and Broker Assistant in Washington State, I have interacted with a lot of agents...I wish I could have 10 like Jon in my office."  Anne Tolland

"Jon Treon is an exceptional realtor, as well as, an ethical professional with years of real estate experience.  His competence and dedication were complemented by a warmth and humor that made the entire process much easier.  Jon's invaluable assistance included:

(1) Accurately determining the value of our home,

(2) Recommending buyer-relevant repairs and maintenance,

(3) Assisting with selling and negotiating strategies, as well as,

(4) "hand-holding" and reassurance throughout the entire process.

A stunning example demonstrates how Jon "stacks up" against his local competition.  After several realtors had estimated our home's value in the $350,000 to $425,000 range, Jon performed a detailed valuation analysis.  That exceptionally thorough analysis required much time and thought, as well as, appraisal expertise and intimate knowledge of the local market.  By recognizing that our home's lakefront location much more than offset its negative characteristics (very small kitchen, only two bedrooms, etc.), Jon correctly valued the property at $650,000, its actual selling price. In sum, by hiring Jon Treon, versus several other realtors, we realized at least $225,000 more in selling price and sold our home for its correct market value."

"You never pressured us or 'oversold' a property. You knew what we were looking for and didn't try to talk us into looking at properties that you knew would not interest us. Thanks."
-Amy and Andy Keith

"Jon's great strengths are exactly what we needed-both with the purchase of our 1st home in 2003 and the sale of that home and purchase of the next in 2007: his low pressure style allowed us to make decisions that were right for us and came at the right time, and he gets the job done.  In a peak market and a difficult market, he made us very happy and comfortable with a huge purchase."
