A little about us!
My New York Times Interview about Mexico City!!
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/08/greathomesanddestinations/08gh-sale.html
Tu Casa Real Estate has been opening doors since 1993. Originally, our specialty was first time buyers who spoke limited English. We had to overcome many obstacles as there was a almost no bilingual loan officers, inspectors, or escrow officers. We essentially became a trusted resource for the community.
What's excites us, is how the Hispanic community has gained a higher knowledge of the buying and selling process. This allows fewer people to be taken advantage of.
Tu Casa Real Estate has become the "bridge" that connects these buyers with sellers. With 30% of all first time buyers being Hispanic, sellers appreciate that we offer end to end bilingual services. We are able to reach a niche that many overlook. Our marketing is in both languages. We also advertise in the general community and in Spanish publications plus our whole staff is bilingual. Not to mention our great client base that keeps referring us.
In keeping with our core values, we have take some very agressive steps to look for innovative ways to assist the Hispanic community. We have opened an office in Mexico City in order to assist American and Mexican residents living in the states to buy in Mexico. We offer a safe vehicle for our clients to invest in another country which has whole different set of rules. We have another office in Coalcalco, Estado de Mexico. We are in the process of setting up new office locations in Baja California and Merida, Yucatan.
The Tu Casa Real Estate team has years of personal experience doing business in Mexico. We are currently creating amazing alliances with Developers in key areas. Also, a Principal Broker who is a member of AMPI, Mexico's NAR equivalent.
Our Services to you!
We are qualified to handle residential sales of any nature. Single family homes, duplex, large multifamily units. Small acreage to large ranch properties.
Commercial transactions that include lease negotiations, the selling of business opportunites, and the sale of commercial buildings are a few other examples of our services.
With the current market, we have had to be more creative. Rent/Lease to Own, Land Sale contracts, seller carry backs all allow families to acheive their dream of homeownership. Having over a decade of experience, we have the experience to handle potential buyers that fall short of conventional financing. In our community we are lending our support to many non-profit organizations in the fields of housing, youth mentoring, parents of disabled children, schools, neighborhood associations, and immigrant rights.
With our two offices in Mexico(third and fourth in the works!), we are able to offer a whole new range of services. At this point we are working with developers to bring some of their product to the international market. At the same time, we are able to counsel local clients on the basics of homebuying in Mexico. Investing in Mexico is in it's infancy but we feel that the reward will far exceed the risk. We will limit risk by dealing with reputable developers, title companies, and use agents that are members of AMPI (Mexico's version of NAR).
These are exciting times for us so keep checking back as this is only the beginning!
