Our Area:
Slave Lake is known as Alberta's largest lake and has some of the nicest beaches of any lake in the province. It also hosts the Alberta Sand Castle Championships in July of every year. Enjoy fishing year round, sailing, water sports or picnicking on the beach with your family. The lake is for everyone to enjoy and because there is very little development around it, it is kept in its natural state. It is quite beautiful....See for yourself!

We often receive requests for rental accommodations. Below are a few suggestions…
- For starters try contacting all 3 Real Estate Brokerages in Slave Lake, (Us) RE/MAX (780-849-4085), Century 21 (780-849-2229), and Royal Le Page (780-805-3111).
Their front desk staff often have a list of possible private rentals supplied to them by the owners. (The front desk staff are usually more aware of these things than the individual Realtors!)
- Always end your conversations with, "do you know of anyone else who may know of a rental?" This often generates additional leads.
- Please find attached a list of the various apartments and townhouses around town. Contacting them directly may lead you to a pending vacancy.
- Another option is to contact our local radio station (92.7 FM), Phone 780-849-5777 on Monday to Friday mornings at 9:04am our local time (after the morning news). You can advertise for free on the air and ask for a rental property. This is called the "tradio" or "trading post", and many people tune in to listen, buy sell or give away items, and it is free!
- You can also access our local Paper the Lakeside Leader online.
